About the event
Get to know some new spring allies and spend some time with old friends. This spring, we will dive into rich and medicinal roots like dandelion, burdock, garlic mustard, chicory and cattail and learn how to transform them into nourishing and delicious vinegars and preparations. We will also revisit some of our favorite spring tonics: nettle, chickweed and violet. This is a hands-on introductory herbal workshop where we will learn plant identification, sustainable harvesting practices, and make remedies designed to build long-term health. Each participant will make a spring root vinegar to bring home. Light refreshments will be served.
